If you are unable to pay fine and fees in full by your appearance date, payment alternatives may be available to you upon request. All payment alternatives must be approved by a judge. A defendant may appear either in person or in writing and enter their plea of either Guilty or No Contest and request a payment arrangement. A guilty judgment will be rendered and a conviction will be submitted to DPS. Moving violations will show up on your driving record and may affect your insurance.

Violations in "Active Warrant" status will be pulled at the time of receipt of request and payment and will remain inactive as long as payments are made timely.

** MANDATORY: If any payment or part of payment is RECEIVED after the 30th day following date of conviction  a $15.00 time payment fee will be assessed PER OPEN VIOLATION. (Sec 133.103, Local Government Code) ****

Failure to comply with payment arrangement will result in a Capias Pro Fine warrant being issued for your arrest.

The defendant shall complete and sign the appropriate paperwork.(See form below) Once the court receives the request, the formal order will be mailed to you to sign and return with your next payment.
