The Lacy Lakeview Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency services to nearly 7,000 residents across approximately five square miles within the City of Lacy Lakeview. The department operates from a station located behind the Civic Center at 505 E. Craven and maintains a fleet that includes two engines, one squad/rescue unit, one tender, two brush trucks, and a command/fire marshal vehicle, allowing personnel to respond to a variety of emergencies including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, wildland fires, and rescue incidents.

The department is led by a paid Fire Chief and administrative staff and supported by a dedicated team of volunteer firefighters. With 25 volunteer positions, these members play a vital role in providing reliable emergency response and protecting the community.

In addition to emergency services, the department is committed to prevention and community engagement through public education, safety demonstrations, and participation in local events. The department also provides child passenger safety assistance through certified car seat technicians who help families ensure car seats are properly installed and used safely. In 2019, the department improved its Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating from a Class 6 to a Class 3, reflecting its continued commitment to training, preparedness, and service to the Lacy Lakeview community. ðŸš’
