Lacy Lakeview Welcomes Tom Whitten as New Police Chief.
The City of Lacy Lakeview is excited to announce the appointment of Tom Whitten as the new Chief of Police.
Chief Whitten brings with him a distinguished career in law enforcement, having served as:
Chief of Police in Dewitt, IA
Chief of Police in Carlsbad, NM
Chief or Police in Harlingen, TX
Served with the El Paso Police Department for 19 years
Chief Deputy for the El Paso Sheriff’s Office for 10 years.
In addition to his professional experience, Chief Whitten holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Park University, a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Sul Ross State University, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Purdue Global. He also attended the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA.
After carefully considering many highly qualified candidates, we are thrilled to welcome Chief Whitten to Lacy Lakeview. His extensive experience and commitment to public safety make him the perfect fit for our community.
