About the Job:
The City of Lacy Lakeview is now hiring certified Texas Peace Officers to join our patrol team. If you’re ready to serve a close-knit community with professionalism, integrity, and pride, we want to hear from you!
This hiring round is open only to candidates who are already TCOLE-certified. Please do not apply unless you currently hold a valid Texas Peace Officer License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol the city to deter and respond to criminal activity
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws and ordinances
- Conduct investigations and complete thorough reports
- Serve warrants, make arrests, and testify in court
- Maintain public safety and foster positive community relationships
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification
- Valid Texas driver license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass all required background checks, drug screening, and physical assessments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior patrol or law enforcement experience
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (can be provided after hire)
