Mission Statement
To
supply citizens with utilities and maintain a clean and safe environment, always
showing respect and concern towards others.
Projects
The
City of Lacy Lakeview is willing and ready to meet the challenges of
tomorrow. At the present time the City is working on a number of projects.
For 2008 the City will be working on a Water Distribution Expansion which will include an overhead water storage tank, two high service pumps, and a ground storage tank. They will also be working on upgrading sewer lift stations.
The
City is now working on Twilight and Whispering. We have already finished S.
Rita, Meyers Ln.(From I-35
to Airbase) and the 100 block of Crescent. East Craven is complete.
The
water department monitors the entire Lacy Lakeview water system from a
computer system in the office. This will notify water personnel if there is
any problem with the water system. Lacy Lakeview purchases water from the
City of Waco. The city
maintains a well system for emergency systems. The water department will
install a new sewer lift station on Loop 340. We
are working on a new water storage facility project on Gholson
Rd. area.
