Betty Jennings

About Betty Jennings, Director of Finance

Betty began working for the City of Lacy Lakeview in June of 2002, as Accounts Payable clerk. In June of 2003, she added Payroll Clerk to her job duties. She became the Finance Director in October of 2009. Some of her job duties entail supervising Accounts Payable, preparing financial reports and statements, maintaining an accounting and financial records system for the City, and preparing Payroll. She has been a member of Government Finance Officers Association of Texas since 2003, and is active with the Lacy Lakeview Chamber of Commerce.

Betty is a graduate of Axtell High School. She has been married for over 20 years and has a son who attends MCC. She also has one grandson.

Accounts Payable

Accounts Payable Department for the City of Lacy Lakeview aims to provide excellent service to our citizens and vendors. The department oversees accounting records, requisitions, vouchers, and related operating reports. We print, verify, and mail disbursements in a timely matter to ensure quality service to our customers.
