Features

  • The entire building interior was updated in the spring of 2003. The kitchen has the latest and most modern appliances, sink, cabinet tops. You can rent the building with or without the kitchen (which has stove, icebox, microwave, ice machine).
  • ADA compliant bathroom facilities
  • The room is equipped with digital televisions and sound system (for use by schools or conferences only)

Pricing

  • $175 - 5 hour minimum, $25 hour for each additional hour

Deposits

  • $150 Refundable Deposit for residents
  • $200 Refundable Deposit for non-residents
The deposit is to ensure the building is cleaned up after the event.

Room Dimensions and Square Footage:

  • Main room: 44' by 48' or 2,112 square feet
  • Kitchen: 15' by 15' or 150 square feet

Equipment:

  • There are 100 chairs
  • Fifteen (15) 60 inch round tables with white plastic tops. Each table seats 8 people.
  • Twenty-two (22) 6' tables with white plastic tops. Each table seats 6 people.
  • One (1) 4' table (white plastic top)

How to Book an Event

First check the Civic Center Calendar of Events to see if your date may be available. Then, call us at 254-799-2458 ext 226 to confirm the date is available. On the left hand menu, there is a Civic Center Rental Agreement Form. Fill out this application and bring it to City Hall with your deposit. Your rental is NOT firm until the applications and all fees are received and accepted.
